We have come to recognize the importance of taking direct action to alleviate animal suffering. Therefore, we engage in various activities aimed at promoting the well-being of animals and the environment. Our mission extends beyond ending animal abuse; we strive to foster a harmonious coexistence with all species. After all, they are our fellow inhabitants on this shared planet, deserving of our care and respect.

We are a humble collective of individuals united by our dedication to improving the lives of these gentle and affectionate creatures around us. With this objective in mind, we established the Shakuntala Society for Welfare of Animals and Nature (SWAN).

Our endeavors encompass a wide range of initiatives, both on a policy level and in practical implementation. We maintain open lines of communication with our stakeholders, constantly seeking innovative approaches to assist animals in need.
